What Kids Learn

Students learn:
✏️ Drawing Fundamentals
I start by teaching children how to observe and draw simple shapes, lines, and forms. As they grow more confident, I help them understand proportions and build structured drawings step by step.
🎨 Colouring Techniques
I introduce kids to a variety of colouring tools like coloured pencils, oil pastels, brush pens, watercolours etc. I guide them in blending, layering, and experimenting with colours to make their artwork vibrant and expressive.
🖌️ Creative Projects in Different Mediums
I regularly design fun projects that use different mediums and styles — from paper to canvas, sponge painting to mixed media according to their level. These creative exercises encourage kids to try new things and enjoy the process of exploration.
🪷 Traditional Indian Art
I love introducing children to India’s rich art traditions through styles like Warli, Madhubani, and more. These sessions give them a sense of cultural connection while learning new techniques in a playful way.
🧠 Composition, Shading & Layout
As children advance, I show them how to arrange elements thoughtfully, use shading for depth, and create balanced layouts. These skills give them a strong foundation for more detailed and complete artworks over time.
